Our Christmas Show will take place on Wednesday December 19th from 12 noon to 2.15pm in St James's Hall


Parents/guardians are welcome to attend the performance by all of the children in the school. The times below are approximate and subject to change. We encourage all parents to stay for the complete performance that will commence at 12noon.

School Fun Run


Our school is part of the Schools Excellence Fund Digital Scheme to Support Digital Learning. As part of this programme we are hoping to purchase a set of ipads/tabs for use by the children in all classes. In order to raise the funds a school Fun Run took place on Thursday October 25th.


Thank you for your wonderful contributions.

We have raised €2,587.43 and are now looking at puchasing a set of ipads/tabs

Parents' Association



There will be a Christmas Disco for children from 1st to 6th classes on Friday 14th December 7 to 8.30pm

€3 per child.

There will be a shop on this night. We are asking parents to help support this event by volunteering for supervision, clean-up and shop duties. Please give your name to Florrie in the office if you can help.





The Parents Association will meet on Friday December 14th at 6.30pm (in advance of the school disco). We ask all parents/guardians to consider becoming involved in our Parent Association and in this way become involved in your child’s education. Meetings are a good opportunity to hear about what is happening in school and be involved in planning for the future. Please join us.

•The Board of Management of Scoil an Chlochair is concerned about the safety of the children in the Church Car Park. We request the cooperation of drivers who drop off and collect children each day.


•Please observe a speed limit of 5km in the car park


•The ‘Set Down’ area in the car park should be strictly for SET DOWN ONLY. If you are going into the school with your child or children please use the marked parking bays provided.


•When collecting children all parents should park in the parking bays.

No parking or waiting in the clearway areas.


•The children walk over to the church regularly.. Please do not park on the marked pathway.








•Please take care of our children!

The health and safety of all our school community is most important at all times Please talk to your child about taking care around the school grounds and when enntering and leaving school. We ask that all parents and guardians observe a 5kph through the church car park at all times. Please do not park or wait in the set down area.
