Welcome to the website of Scoil an Chlochair, Kilbeggan. Scoil an Chlochair is a mixed primary school catering for students from Junior Infants to 6th Class. We also have a Butterfly Room and Caterpillar Room catering for pupils with ASD. There are currently 9 class teachers, 4 SEN teachers, 2 ASD teachers and 8 SNA's. Voluntary Smartphone Code
We have had an overwhelming response from parents for the introduction of a Voluntary Smartphone Code in our school. This code ensures that parents refrain from purchasing smartphones for their children until they complete their Primary education. Click HERE for more information.
This school now has high speed broadband connectivity through the Department of Education School Broadband Programme, delivered as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.

We ask all parents/guardians to consider becoming involved in our Parent Association and in this way become involved in your child’s education. Meetings are a good opportunity to hear about what is happening in school and be involved in planning for the future. Please join us.
SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN!
The Board of Management of Scoil an Chlochair is concerned about the safety of the children in the Church Car Park. We request the cooperation of drivers who drop off and collect children each day.
Please observe a speed limit of 5km in the car park
The ‘Set Down’ area in the car park should be strictly for SET DOWN ONLY. If you are going into the school with your child or children please use the marked parking bays provided.
When collecting children all parents should park in the parking bays.
No parking or waiting in the clearway areas.
The children walk over to the church regularly.. Please do not park on the marked pathway.
